L'AQUILA, JUNE 26 – It depated yesterday the fifteen days relay- trekking cross that passes by the Sibillini National Park and reaches the Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, passing through the national parks of the Gran Sasso-Laga and Majella and is organized by Mountain Wilderness Italy, with the CTS collaboration, to raise the problem of the marginalization of national parks and supporting their importance as engines of a new economic development. "Four hundred thousand steps to the national parks" is the name of also created to give new momentum to the proposal to include the whole complex of protected natural areas of Abruzzo in the list of World Heritage of UNESCO.
